At the Dhash Bengaluru Half Marathon, every step carried a purpose beyond the finish line. Guided by our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, we pledged “1 Runner = 1 Tree”, ensuring that every participant contributed directly to creating a greener future.
Today, we are proud to announce the successful fulfillment of that promise through our Prana Vanam Initiative. As a result of the collective efforts of our runners, partners, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters, 10,000 trees have been planted in Sira, Tumakuru, creating a lasting environmental impact that will benefit generations to come.
The Dhash Bengaluru Half Marathon was never just about endurance, speed, or personal achievement. It was about bringing together a community that believes in positive change. Every registration, every kilometre covered, and every finish-line celebration has now been transformed into a living contribution to nature.
These plantations will help enhance biodiversity, improve local green cover, support ecological balance, and contribute towards a healthier and more sustainable environment. What began as a marathon has now grown into a legacy of environmental stewardship.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every runner who participated and helped turn a vision into reality. Together, we have demonstrated that when a community comes together with a shared purpose, every stride can create a meaningful impact.
10,000 Trees. Thousands of Runners. One Shared Commitment to a Greener Tomorrow.
